Announcing Plied Yarns' NEW base! Penn Ave is a worsted 2 ply with the same marled goodness as the 2 ply North Ave fingering, but so much thicker and woolier.
Plied is still hand-dying the single ply and sending it to Harrisville Designs mill for plying, so the Plied Yarn line now has TWO weights that are made the same way!
The Penn Ave single plies are much thicker, so the marls are even more dramatic. It’s like holding a magnifying glass over North Ave - you see the color richness and contrasts even more, and everything is, you know, bigger.
